  1. Wow! Nice job! Im the same ge as you and I haven’t even got my double axel yet!
Hope to see you in the Olympics some day!

  2. The butterfly program is my favourite! How did you manage to open/close the fans so fast and not drop them? That’s amazing!

  3. It was nice to talk to you in the rink! I hope we will know each other even when you go to the olympics and I will be the first one to get a sign from you!!! (Just kidding:P)
    Anyways you are so nice!!!!

  4. My mom says that she loves how you put your body into the program and I wish I had artistry like you on the ice

  5. Hi Karen! I am 12 years old and I first watched you skate at the pacific coast Sectionals 2 years ago(I do Intermediate dance and juvenile free style, and I was there for dance that year!) I was like, AMAZED, at your jumps, flexibility, and your maturity on the ice. Every time I watch you, I get inspired to train harder to be like you. I have a few questions for you: How do you get your jumps to be so consistent? Are you naturally flexible? Do you know any ways on how I can get my spiral to be better? Thank you!! I look forward to watching you again this year!

    1. Hi Gianna, thanks for your kind words. I wouldn’t consider myself “naturally flexible” because it took me quite some time to be flexible. After that, I still need to spend 10-15 minutes stretching to keep my flexibility. I think you can do your spiral in front of mirror so you can see your position and adjust it if needed.

  6. How did your spirals go up straight? One day you just tried it and you did it? or it took time? You are so flexible.
I stretch everyday but cant hold up my spiral.

  7. I loved your routines since I was seven years old. You are my idol right now and I want to be as good as you.
